The Campaign

The Greater Gwent Food Group, a partnership between Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport City and Torfaen councils released multilingual allergen resource for food businesses in Wales, England and Northern Ireland to help protect the estimated two million plus people living with a diagnosed food allergy in the UK.

The Objective

To educate and drive businesses in the hospitality and food industry to new allergen resource training available for free on the Trading Standards website which has been built and designed to help ensure they are legally compliant with Natasha’s Law which came into law on 1/10/21.

The Results: 10 Pieces of Coverage

A crafted press release was distributed to a targeted hit list of trade and consumer media outlets and 10 pieces of editorial coverage in print and online was secured for the campaign.
